Ministryof Cape Town
Inspired by the Church's vision for catechesis, this website seeks to foster a vibrant culture of faith formation in the Archdiocese of Cape Town by equipping catechists, clergy, parents, and faith communities for the faithful transmission of the Gospel, the formation of disciples of Jesus Christ, and the nurturing of lifelong growth in faith.

A Vision for Faith Formation
His Grace, Archbishop of Cape TownArchdiocese of Cape TownThe work of catechesis is close to my heart. When we form young people well in the faith, we build not only the Church but the entire community. Catechesis is discipleship — walking with Christ and inviting others to do the same.
Walking Together in Discipleship
His Grace, Auxiliary Archbishop of Cape TownArchdiocese of Cape TownFaith formation is not confined to a classroom. It happens in parishes, families, and every moment we accompany one another toward Christ. I encourage all catechists and parents to embrace this sacred work with joy and perseverance.
